In theory this is the same place as Cafè König, but the pastry shop is stand-alone and deserves its own name, especially many locals just buy cakes and sweets to take away. Regardless, this is a beautiful shop with a large selection! Enjoy!

I love the pastries in Europe. Im not one for sweets in the states but here in Italy, Paris and Germany not only do they look enticing but they taste delicious. You can actually taste the flavors it is featuring opposed to it being just sweet. Don't forget the sahne/cream it just adds another flavorful layer. Love it!!!!

We drove straight into the middle of town to try this place out, since it was highly recommended. As we were warned, we had to wait in line for a free table and after about 10 minutes we got one. Not that it mattered since it took another 20 minutes for a waiter to come for our order - gave us time to decipher the German only menu with Google Translate. Then, when we ordered their famous Black Forest Cake we were told we have to go to the Patisserie to get a chit for that before the waiter can go and get it - whatever happened to German efficiency? What a completely illogical way of doing things - the apple strudel can be ordered directly to the waiter, by the way! Anyway the pastries were nice, but the service is not at all.- Service
